yfamilies started when we came up with the idea that it is high time to bring social networking to families with young children or simply put – to Generation Y families. Our idea is to help you to discover and meet like minded parents in your neighborhood and to make it easier to organize common activities, find friends for your children and yourself and build your family friendly village.
Ben is a social network expert who built one of the most successful social networks in Europe – StayFriends. After having helped people to re-connect with their old classmates, his new passion is to bring together young parents with the help of a mobile app and with this to overcome the anonymity of modern (city)-life. He became a co-founder of SitEinander in 2018 where he developed the idea of a social network for Generation Y families that respects their privacy and is free of advertisements. The idea of yfamilies thus was born.
